Elisa :: Dancing

Okay...maybe some of you will call me names for watching Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" but I, ironically, will take your criticizm like a man. If you can watch this video of Kameron and Lacey dancing to Italian born Elisa's "Dancing" then you're not a human being. I think the Mia Michael's choreography (yes, I even know the choreographer's name...sue me!) is almost as great as the song.

I've never really gotten contemporary dance and it's really only ever moved me to reach for the remote or at best raise an eyebrow and 'so what was that all about?'. But this particular piece was possible the most wonderful and beautiful piece of dance that I think I've ever seen. Every time I've viewed it I've seen something even more extraordinary and have a deeper appreciation of such talented dancers and exquisite choreography. If this is what contemporary dance is all about then with this piece alone, I'm signing up to be a fan!

i loved that piece on sytycd .. it was by far in my opinion the best choreography on that show to date. it was so moving and the story behind the dance was amazing. i loved it. it was such a powerful story and the body language between the dancers was nothing short of perfect.

this piece of charoegraphy was extra ordinary, the ability of lacey and cameron to transform such exquisite and complex feelings into body language under the guidance of mia is outstanding. these two brought the spirituality of this song to life and told its story like in a fairy tale. this is perfection. i havent seen or felt anything like it. not only doest it make u want to cry but it also creats internal conflict, with exploding emotion..
